As a current AP high school teacher with more than four years of professional tutoring experience, I understand what actually leads to success in the classroom — not just memorization, but real comprehension and skill development.
I believe students learn best when instruction is calm, structured, and personalized to the way they think. My sessions focus on clarity and strategy, not just memorizing steps. I teach students the “why” behind problems so they can apply skills independently in class and on exams.
We offer one-on-one tutoring (60 minutes or longer upon request), coursework support, exam prep, and skill-based coaching, including Regents and AP preparation, study skills, writing help, and academic organization.
Started at 62 and lacked confidence. We focused on fundamentals and test strategies. By semester’s end, he earned an 88 on the final and participates confidently in class.
Struggled with LEQs/DBQs. We built argument structure and evidence integration. She moved from low 3s to high 4s and earned a 5 on the AP Exam.
Issues applying formulas and units. After 8 weeks of targeted practice, she improved from failing quizzes to 90%+ on the midterm.
Sessions may be extended beyond 60 minutes.

No — in-person tutoring is limited to the Five Towns and nearby.
